Mother of Two Munchkins

My journey as a children’s book author began in 2019, when I said goodbye to my baby boy, Alexander, after just five precious months. He was born with a rare immune deficiency, and we spent our time together in quiet, loving isolation.

In my grief, a quiet idea took root: a children’s book in his honor—not just for me, but for a world that never got the chance to know him. A way for him to live on through story and imagination.

That idea carried me across Spain on the Camino de Santiago, with Alexander’s ashes held close to my heart. I felt his presence beside me—in the breeze, in the sunlight, in the hush of sacred places—gently guiding me, whispering ideas, and inspiring images. When I reached Finisterre, the “end of the world,” I released his ashes into the sea, making a silent wish for his spirit to live on—in love and in story.

That wish became Trouble on Orion, my very first book.

Two years later, my daughter Sophia arrived—a bright, joyful light after deep loss. Her laughter, curiosity, and sparkle inspired new stories. And so, The Amazing Series was born—books shaped by the invisible bond between my two children: one here beside me, one always in spirit.

What began as a grieving mother’s tribute has grown into a collection of heartfelt books. I once had a career as a chemist, but life—with all its unexpected turns—led me to a different kind of alchemy: creating stories from love.
